We met through mutual family acquaintances in East Texas! It’s a wonder we haven’t known one another for a few decades already! We finally met after months of chatting and both knew we were each others “person” from the moment we met. The bizarreness of this still blows both of our minds! Two days later, Ryan with my daughter—instantly picking up a father figure role without hesitation and so much love in his heart melted mine! The love “zings” were real, and we just continued to grow from them! Through the peaks and valleys life has thrown our way, the one thing that remains the same—is our (and God’s) love!
Ryan: love at first sight seemed unrealistic until I met her. I just knew and we grew from there! I met the love of my life, and i just—knew in that initial moment without a doubt.

What is your most favorite moment from your adventure Oklahoma Mountain elopement?
Ryan: Looking her in the eyes and saying my vows. She is the love of my life and I am so incredibly blessed!
Lacy: Champagne (and baby champagne) picnic overlooking the water from the mountain side. My daughter and I officially gained our missing piece to our family. Hoping we can continue the new family tradition of picnic Saturdays with a view and all the memories the years ahead can supply! ??? Also, Ryan saying vows to sweet Beckett as well.

The biggest piece of advice I can give brides is do what YOU want, not what others desire for YOUR day! The reduction in stress allows you to fully enjoy this day to its fullest! Pick the main details you can’t live without and let the rest go.

What made you trust Texas Adventure Elopement photographers to capture the most important parts of your elopement?
Ryan: They made the day entirely about us. They were attentive but not over bearing. Stress free as they had everything site planned.
Lacy: I originally contacted via social media and was immediately contacted to fill out some paperwork and sent a specific photographer (Elliet) for just us! She genuinely wanted to know US, along with all of the minor details we dreamt of for the perfect wedding day.
During this time, my daughter had multiple surgeries my father passed away, and we had damage to our home during a storm! While MOST people just bother you to get money from you—this was far from the case! I felt an outpour of love and support from Elliet before she even met me. Wanting to help eliminate my stress and help in any way she could!
No pressure, no pushing, just a caring—we can do this when you’re ready and I’m here to help in the meantime was the (much appreciated) vibe I got! She wasn’t after “another client” she’s sought after, but yet she was genuinely getting to know us, and spending time to help make our day everything we dreamt of with minimal to no stress! When we pulled the trigger it was a surprise to her because we needed a THREE week rush with my fathers new prognosis—I felt absolutely zero stress about planning ANY of my wedding because she took care of details and in my eyes—did it!
She helped us walk through our day without stress and just—as us but also on the adventure of a lifetime! Hindsight, she went another step above, and had a plan in place to help out with my toddler while we were having our adventure Oklahoma Mountain Elopement! She was so many steps ahead and so many things I will forever be grateful for! We couldn’t have possibly found a better person! ?
