Pedro + Stephanie
Big Bend National Park Wedding
Texas Adventure Elopements
The moment Stephanie reached out to me about planning her small intimate wedding in Big Bend for a true Texas sunset followed by a campfire under the stars, we both knew we were the perfect fit.
We started the day hiking down to the Rio Grande where the couple did their private first look together hidden from their guests. The United States in front of them and Mexico in the back, there really wasn’t any other perfect way for them to see each other for the first time.
We then joined up with her brother and his partner along with their musician/officiant in a private area where they had the river in back, Mexico on the left, and America on the right. The midafternoon sun was perfect as it highlighted the depth of the canyon and the refreshing sparkles of the river. Shortly after the ceremony we take off hiking the depths of Santa Elena Canyon and play in the water a bit.
Due to the amount of time we spent at the river, we had to use plan B for our intimate sunset photos location and it did not disappoint! We found some amazing places along the way but once we got to our destination it started raining, and when I say it was the most magical thing I have ever seen, I really mean it.
I can’t really say more about it…. it was just… the most amazing surprise they could have had on their wedding day, beautiful, unexpected rain.
